The sky is cloudy this morning with the sun occasionally poking through. There are raindrops dotting my back deck. I opened the french doors to let in the fresh air and watched the sun wash across the backyard, watched the green jumping into the trees and the pink hue of blossoms.
On my 16th birthday, my dad gave me a book titled This Is My Wish For You, wishing me moon-glories and star-glories, happiness' arms around me and wisdom to make my soul serene among other things. I loved it.
Last year I asked for wishes, and they were a complete highlight -- that day and for days that followed.
So, in keeping with tradition, what would you wish for me today?
