My 3rd of June Wish

Dear Flag,

Since I hung you out on Monday, will you bring summer too? To me you are symbolic of fireworks and barbeques and lazy summer days with sprinklers, popsicles and sunshine. You remind me of parade bands and how I love this land. I look at you and think of grass under my feet and flower blooms big enough they startle you. You go with the watermelon stuff on my summer mantle and the wish for lots of green.

Can you bring 80 degrees to stay? Can you make it feel like June? Pleeeeeeeease??
