So...it has been unseasonably warm for late December and January around here.
It actually has been pretty lovely.
I saw a friend had posted on facebook: This is my kind of winter.
Agreed.
I would enjoy it 100% (which I am doing).
But I'm hoping we get some water at some point.
Anyway...there is nothing like a spring-feeling day around here in late December.
See those two kids out in the flowerbed (upper left)?
That's where they were.
They all came in for spoons to get busy with in the dirt.
Rode their bikes.
I had indoor solitude for quite some time.
I opened the windows and aired everything out.
Used my new vacuum and did a number on the house.
Bless that 50-something degrees.

It's really warm for January in New York too . . . which is kind of freaking me out. I know a horrible winter is coming and the suspense is killin me!

Hey Liz, Im not sure how I feel about this weather. Just a little snow would be nice. It is great that the kids can run in the yard and not freeze.
The last few weeks Lincoln has been talking about an imaginary friend named Oingy. Anyways he is 25 with blue and white hair and lives at Ikea and they like to go swimming and wear swim suits. Anyways he will go on and on about this friend it is so funny. Tonight when I was looking at your pictures he said "what are you looking for? My friend Oingy at Ikea?" So I asked if he saw him and he said yeah he is right there pointing to Isaiah. So glad I know Oingy is not a old creepy guy but actually some one that could be his friend. :)
Leah, lets get Linc and Oingy together. ;)
